On December 13, the F.W Johnson Pre-Season High School Wrestling Tournament was held in Regina.
Attending were nine Weyburn wrestlers. Katelyn Franklin finished first in Novice Female 61 kg; Carter Barrett finished first in Novice Male 59kg and Tyler Fleming placed first in Novice Male 64 kg.
Aaron Hemphill placed second in Novice Male 49 kg; Ryan Verbeem placed second in Novice Male 69 kg; Kyle Martin placed second in Novice Male 86 kg and Nathan Bradley placed second in Novice Male 114 kg.
Braydon Johnston placed third in Male Elite 77 kg and Braydon Roberts placed fifth in Male Elite 65kg.
The next high school tournament will be held in Regina on February 6 and 7, 2015.
