Wings to face Hounds in last exhibition game

Four Weyburn Red Wings players did not report to training camp and have decided to pursue post secondary or work opportunities. Joe Bristow (95 F), Cody Pettapiece (94 D), Ty McLean (95 F) and Nate Morris (94 D) will not be returning to the Wings.

Four Weyburn Red Wings players did not report to training camp and have decided to pursue post secondary or work opportunities.

Joe Bristow (95 F), Cody Pettapiece (94 D), Ty McLean (95 F) and Nate Morris (94 D) will not be returning to the Wings.

"The Weyburn Red Wings would like to thank them for their efforts during the 2013-14 season and wish them all the best in their future endeavours," said Coach/GM Bryce Thoma.

The status of Brendan McKay (94 F) is yet to be determined and the Wings wish Mason Anderson (95 D) the best of luck in his tryout with the Dubouque Fighting Saints of the USHL.

The Weyburn Red Wings next home game is Friday, September 12 against the Notre Dame Hounds.
