Child killed in Ogema when vehicle and bike collide

The child declared deceased by EMS at the scene has been identified as a boy under the age of 10. His family has been notified.

OGEMA — A boy under the age of 10 has been killed in a vehicle collision with a bicycle in Ogema, say Coronach RCMP.

On July 31, at approximately 5:30 p.m., they received a report of a serious collision at the intersection of Bradley Street and Saskatchewan Avenue in Ogema.

Officers responded along with local fire and EMS. Investigation determined a vehicle and a child on a bike collided. The child was declared deceased by EMS at the scene. He has been identified as a boy under the age of 10. His family has been notified.

The driver of the involved vehicle remained at the scene.
