The Saskatchewan Junior Golf Championships wrapped up on Thursday in Lloydminster.
In the women’s overall event, Saskatoon’s Grace Odnokon carded a final round 80, which was good for a six-shot victory over Regina’s Tayla Perry.
Odnokon also won the under-17 category with a 54-hole score of 22-over par 238. The 15-year-old will lead Team Saskatchewan to nationals in Quebec later this summer.
In the under-15 women's category, Yoyo Zhu of Saskatoon won the championship. She shot 41-over-par 257 over three days to win the age group.
In the men’s event, Saskatoon golfer Aricin Franklin shot a 76 in Thursday’s final round, good for a one-shot win over Ethan Hunter. Defending champion Ryan Mosher was third, two shots behind Franklin, who was also the under-17 champion.
In the under-15 men's category, Austin Nesbitt of Pilot Butte battled from behind to overtake Melville golfer Keaton Kreklewich and win the division by a stroke. Nesbitt shot 9-over par 225 through three rounds at the Lloydminster Golf and Curling Centre.
Hudson Deibert of Regina claimed the under-13 men's division with a 54-hole score of 29-over par 244.
