Calgary turned defence into offence Friday night, forcing 20 turnovers and converting them into 28 points en route to a 105–76 win over the Saskatchewan Rattlers at WinSport Events Centre. The victory clinched second place in the CEBL Western Conference and a home play-in matchup with Edmonton on Aug. 14.

After trailing 24–22 after the first quarter, the Surge locked in defensively, holding Saskatchewan under 18 points in each of the final three frames. Calgary outscored the Rattlers 62–36 in the paint, dominated transition points 20–4, and shot 46 per cent from the field.

Jaden Bediako (15 points, 13 rebounds) and Jordan Bowden (15 points) led Saskatchewan in the loss. For Calgary, a series of highlight-reel dunks from Brown III, Miller-Moore, and Jones energized the home crowd.

The Surge seized control with a 17–2 run early in the third quarter and never looked back, pushing the lead to 26 before closing out the win in Target Score Time.

Both teams wrap up the regular season Sunday: Calgary hosts Niagara, while Saskatchewan faces Brampton.
