Miguel Fenrich

Miguel Fenrich is a reporter with the Battlefords News-Optimist and a contributor to SASKTODAY.ca.
Miguel is a rural Saskatchewan author, photographer, and reporter passionate about the written word, storytelling and social change. He is the debut author of Blue: A Novel, finished his first body of photographic work in 2020 at eighteen, titled Prairie Perspectives, and is the owner and publisher of Supernova Press, Battlefords newest publishing company.
He currently serves as a director for SaskBooks and Battlefords Trade and Education Centre, chairing BTEC's digital image committee. He also anticipates his two forthcoming novels and writes political commentary in his spare time. Miguel loves horror movies, cooking/baking, and has a one-eyed cat named Oscar.
