More than 12,500 students graduating from Grade 12 this spring are now eligible for the $500 Saskatchewan Advantage Scholarship, to help reduce the cost of their post-secondary education.
“This funding will make post-secondary education more affordable for students by directly reducing the cost of their tuition,” Advanced Education Minister Scott Moe said.
The Saskatchewan Advantage Scholarship offers Grade 12 graduates $500 per year to a lifetime maximum of $2,000 to be applied to their tuition costs at a Saskatchewan post-secondary institution. Students have up to 10 years after Grade 12 graduation to use the benefit.
