Bleed Green – The Saskatchewan Roughriders want people to bleed green, and they’re encouraging everyone to take the time to give blood to Canadian Blood Services. Chris Best and Weldon Brown were in town to meet people who were giving blood, and Best himself signed up to make a donation of his own. Pictured above, Brown (left) talks to Twyla Johnson, who donated blood and brought her kids along so they could meet the players. “It’s something you’re giving away to help people live life to the fullest,” Brown says.
