The Yorkton Habitat for Humanity ReStore celebrated its first anniversary recently, with a barbecue to commemorate successfully raising money to build Habitat homes. Manager Merv Catchuk says it has been a truly amazing year, with exceptional donations from the community at large. “It was a way to take product that people would usually throw into the dump, recycle it, offer it to sale to the general public, and any of the proceeds go back into building, helping to support the fund to build more homes.”
