Team Sask men's hockey to play for gold at Canada Winter Games

REGINA - On Saturday, Team Sask will attempt to do something that hasn’t happened since 1995, win a gold medal in men’s hockey at the Canada Games.

Saskatchewan is off to the gold medal game thanks in part to Cole Reschny and Joby Baumuller, who each netted a pair of goals in a 4-3 win over Quebec in Friday’s semi final.

Saskatchewan’s opponent is not known at the time of this writing.

The gold medal game will be played on Saturday at the East Link Centre in Charlottetown, home of the Charlottetown Islanders of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
