A calibration clinic for aircraft used in crop spraying was hosted by Miccar Aerial at the Yorkton Municipal Airport June 2. The technicians for the clinic were Alan McCracken and Tom Wolfe. McCracken has worked in more than 130 countries calibrating and setting up aircraft for a broad range of crops; everything from pecans to onions to orchards of all kinds to very large farms in South America of over 500,000 acres. Wolfe is one of Canada’s most expert professionals on agricultural spraying, having done a great deal of research on various spraying technology and methodology.
