Riding Wind-up

On Tuesday, Sept. 22, the Yorkton community came together to celebrate! Members of the Yorkton Terriers joined Parkland Therapeutic Riding Association (PTRA) for our year-end windup at Moon Shadow Stables. The Terriers joined the riders and volunteers for a BBQ, games, awards and door prizes. The PTRA also recognized Karen Nordin, Mona Bozsik and Eva Gillard for each having volunteered 21 years of service to the Association. Much fun was had by everyone who attended. The PTRA would like to thank Trent Cassan, Casey O’Brien and the Terrier Organization for their participation and generosity.

The Parkland Therapeutic Riding Association (PTRA) was formed to promote challenge and achievement for children, youth and adults with disabilities through the use of horses. The PTRA is a volunteer-based program in an indoor arena at Moon Shadow Stables, and is dependent on fund-raising and donations to operate. Much gratitude to Barry and Judy Dilts, Maple Farm Equipment, Sacred Heart High School and Companion Animal Hospital for your continued support!
