After a successful graduation fueled by generous community support, several members of the 2021 Canora Composite School Graduation Class dropped in at the Town of Canora office on October 19 to donate $1,448.92 toward the new Aquatic Park Project. The Grads said the money was raised for a bottle drive during the 2020/21 school year as part of fundraising for graduation. The funds raised included substantial donations from local businesses, so class members decided they wanted the extra money not used for graduation to go to the Town, and a major active local project is the new Aquatic Park.
