Canora high school football player to continue career in Regina

CANORA - Joey Palagian, a Grade 12 student at Canora Composite School, has signed with the Regina Thunder and plans to join the team next season.

Palagian will step up to join the Thunder after a distinguished high school career, which included earning a starting linebacker spot on the Canada Cup-winning Team Saskatchewan for the U18 national championship,

Welcoming Palagian to the Thunder was Coach Scott MacAuley.

Palagian has since started training camp at an indoor complex in Moose Jaw. He has been accepted into the University of Regina Kinesiology program and has accepted a scholarship from the Thunder for his studies. 

Palagian was one of two members of the Yorkton Regional High School Raiders to be signed by the Thunder, the other was Owen Effa of Yorkton.
