Trans Canada Trail vandalized by truck

Photos posted on the Town of Canora’s Facebook page show a black truck driving through the trail, which is made for foot and bicycle traffic.

A black truck drove on the Trans Canada Trail at the south end of town along Highway 9, causing damage to plaques and memory trees.

CANORA - A vandal has caused damage to the Trans Canada Trail.

Photos posted on the Town of Canora’s Facebook page show a black truck driving through the trail, which is made for foot and bicycle traffic.

“Please refrain from driving on the Trans Canada Trail,” the town wrote. “We have numerous memory trees planted that families have sponsored, due to the careless behaviour of the motorist pictured many plaques and memory trees have been wrecked.”
