Yullinda Ponicappo said she is truly excited about her new position as Indigenous Community Worker at Canora Composite School, "“I love being a part of the team and working with the students.”

Kody Rock is a graduate of Canora Composite School, but this year he is back in the role of newcomer.

Canora Composite School staff and its School Community Council have name the former weight room, the Kim Eiteneier Fitness Center.

"I hope to make a positive difference in all my students' lives, as they do in mine,” said Lily Lozinski at the start of the new school year.

Former Canora resdents being recognized are: Major Jason T. Marchinko, Lieutenant-Colonel Kevin L. Ciesielski, and Retired RCAF Capt, CD II, Bonnie Sadler.

With their daughter Emma holding a mic, Kelvin Young and his wife Jessica led the singing for Cowboy Church, including I’ll Fly Away, When The Roll Is Called Up Yonder, and This Little Light of Mine.

Gina Rakochy was on council for more than 15 years and served as mayor for four, while raising her family alongside her late husband Tom.

Occupants of the vehicle received minor injuries from the broken glass.

Mutton busting was one of the most looked forward to events at Canora Ag Days.

With everything from a pet show to stick horse races, kids had plenty of excitement at Canora Ag Days on Aug. 24-25.
