Affinity CU raises $9,125 riding on the Big Bike in Norquay

The 29 riders of the Heart and Stroke Big Bike in Norquay on June 24 raised a total of $9,125.

These are the people from the Kamsack, Norquay and Pelly branches of Affi nity Credit Union who rode the Heart and Stroke Foundation’s Big Bike in Norquay on June 24, raising, as the “big cheque” says: $9,125.25.

The 29 riders of the Heart and Stroke Big Bike in Norquay on June 24 raised a total of $9,125. “Over the seven years that we have been riding the Big Bike we have raised $48,000 for the
Heart & Stroke Foundation,” said Chrissy Killniak, financial services supervisor for Affinity Credit Union, which was responsible for filling most of the seats on the bike.

The raffle winners were Stan Unger of Norquay, Rosalie Hilderman of Togo and Stuart Severight of Kamsack, Killniak said.

Participating in the fundraising event for the Heart and Stroke Foundation were Affi nity employees from the Kamsack, Norquay and Pelly branches.
