Volunteers and residents of the long term care home in Outlook got together for a special lunch event.

The yearly benefit car show featuring classic autos of yesteryear also featured some very popular lawnmower races, which will see further events coming this summer.

The works of students from Outlook High School are on display at the local art gallery for just a few days, giving people a chance to see some young creative minds at work.

The event featured hot dogs, hamburgers and ice cream as well as appearances from Yorkton Fire Protective Services, Parkland Search and Rescue and local conservation officers.

The third annual Move To Cure ALS Walk in the lakeside village of Elbow had a huge turnout and raised some spectacular funds for combative efforts against the disease.

Construction coming along at a brisk pace for the new fire facility, which is on track for a targeted opening of this fall.

The event seemed to have something for everyone as many left the hall carrying home new found treasures.

Among the attendees were 12 Grade 3 and 4 students from Chief Gabriel Cote School from Cote First Nation.
