Pancake breakfast at Good Spirit raises funds for cancer initiative

All proceeds – the final tally yet to be determined – will go towards enriching the lives of local cancer patients and their families.

YORKTON - A pancake breakfast fundraiser for the Brayden Ottenbreit Close Cuts for Cancer – Local Cancer Initiatives Program was held Sunday.

The annual event was held in front pf The Beach Store at Good Spirit Lake Provincial Park, with a large number attending – some 500 breakfasts were served -- in support of the initiative.

All proceeds – more than $7,000 including birdhouse sales, wildflower bouquets by 10-year-olds Wynn and Bryn, quilt raffle donated by Les and Sandra Satterthwaite, and Amphicar rides by Stan and Karla Sastaunik, will go towards enriching the lives of local cancer patients and their families.
