Mushers' Rendezvous reorganizing

The committee members of the Preeceville and District Musher's Rendezvous meet-ing to prepare for next year’s annual event, which is scheduled for January 29, 30 and 31. The first meeting was held on October 5 with nine members in attendance.

The first meeting was held on October 5 with nine members in attendance. It was recorded that Andrea Tonn from the Preeceville recreation office, will be responsible for children's activities.

A motion was made by a committee member to fundraise for a Mushers multi-purpose pad with the Town of Preeceville backing the project.

It was decided to have a dance this year on the Saturday evening with music to be determined at a later date. The talent night on Friday evening is being scheduled.

The paper dog fundraising will be held at the Sturgis School and will involve students in the school to sell paper dogs.

It was also decided that all committee members  will try to sell Christmas bulbs  and angels on the Christmas tree. The next meeting will be on November 2.
