Sgt. Mark Langager of the Outlook RCMP passed along this note to The Outlook, which spotlights some old-fashioned good citizenship being practiced by those enjoying Lake Diefenbaker recently.
Langager’s email reads:
On Friday, June 22, Ian Crossman and his family from Rosetown were at Lake Diefenbaker and went out of their way to help a stranded boater and his family. RCMP had received a call of the stranded boater while near Lake Diefenbaker, and the Crossman family happened to be at the same boat launch and were willing to help. The Crossman family left right away, locating the stranded boater and towing them safely to shore.
The RCMP would like to thank the Crossman family and other Good Samaritans that make our lakes a safer place.
