The hot weather made for perfect conditions for the summer solstice fun day held at Annie Laurie Lake on June 24.
The fun day featured numerous different summer activities with a giant slip-and-slide being the highlight of the afternoon.
Events included: ladder ball, planting flowers, a giant jenga, giant checkers on a giant checker board, ring toss, inflatable bouncy castles, Frisbee golf and beach volleyball. White Sands Camp brought out its rock wall and giant inflatable balls in which people can play.
The fun was followed by a barbeque lunch with refreshments. The Preeceville Fire Department helped set-up and maintain the giant slide and with the barbeque.
