Cadets hone leadership skills and lift community spirit

Kamsack Air Cadets assembled some thoughtful treats for Eaglestone residents
KAMSACK - On the evening of Wednesday, December 8, the 633 Kamsack Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron made sleighs from chocolate bars and candy canes. In effort to give back to the community, the cadets decided the gifts should be delivered to the Kamsack Eaglestone Care Home before Christmas.

The Kamsack Air Cadet’s Facebook page shared the following statement:

“Most of the senior cadets had not instructed a class yet. When the pandemic hit they were only level 2 and 3. After a couple instructions classes, we decided to give them a fun class to teach in smaller groups. It was a win-win situation, the senior cadets got eased into teaching and the personal care home seniors get the treats.”
