1950 Parade

Once in a while in its history, some Yorkton citizens have lifted the community's veil of conservatism.

Once in a while in its history, some Yorkton citizens have lifted the community's veil of conservatism.

Here is an example - a parade float, where the owners decided to push the boundaries of "naughtiness" and humour with the slogan " We Service New Models." S & H Motors were agents of General Motors products. The bathing suit models are not identified.

The 1950 photo is from the Collection of Mike Keaschuk, professional photographer.
