A handful of volunteers gave a Yorkton transitional home a renovation on Sept. 5. The Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority (SIGA) organized its second annual “Day of Sharing” this month. It’s an initiative where SIGA employees volunteer in their communities. SIGA chose the Yorkton Transitional Homes for Youth (YTHY) as this year’s project. Volunteers painted the walls at the 353 Bradbrooke Drive transitional home on Wednesday. “It’s a good partnership,” said Antony Allary, YTHY Executive Director. “We’re appreciative.”
