The Prairie Sun Seed Festival rooted itself in the gymnasium of Yorkdale Central School for the sixth year in a row. This past Saturday the event featured a variety of booths that specialized in seed health, chemical awareness and soil health. Shopping and supporting local were strong themes this year, with seed sovereignty presented as the most important factor of supporting local.
