In the late evening hours of Nov. 28, RCMP in Yorkton were called to an armed robbery at a business on the 100 block of Broadway Street West in Yorkton. A lone male entered the business and robbed the employee at knifepoint of an undetermined amount of cash.
The suspect fled on foot and could possibly have gotten into a late 1980s Buick style of car. The suspect is described as a Caucasian male approximately 5 foot 9 to 6 feet tall, approximately 180 to 190 lbs.

Man killed in stabbing
On the morning of Dec. 1 at around 2:45 am, members of the Fort Qu'Appelle RCMP detachment were called to a residence on Craigleith Avenue in Fort Qu'Appelle. It was reported that a 22-year-old male had been stabbed and needed medical attention. Fort Qu'Appelle Ambulance responded and transported the male to All Nations Healing Hospital, where he has since died.
The deceased has been identified as Joseph Lyle Bellegarde, 22, of Regina.
An autopsy will be conducted in the coming days.
The Major Crimes Unit South and the Fort Qu'Appelle Detachment are continuing with their investigation with the assistance of the Regina RCMP Police Dog Services, Yorkton Forensic Identification Unit and Traffic Services.

Charge laid in accident
On the night of Sunday, December 4, a vehicle in Yorkton was rear-ended by another vehicle, causing minor injuries to a passenger in the struck vehicle. The driver of the other vehicle has been charged with impaired driving.
