The RCMP is seeking the public’s help in solving an armed robbery at a Melville business February 6.
On Saturday, a man described as a Caucasian male, approximately 25 to 30 years old and at least six feet tall entered a business on the 100 block of Halifax brandishing a weapon. The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of money in an unknown direction.
Additional information provided by police included the man was wearing a grey hoodie, a large black insulated winter vest, black pants and dark winter boots.
The Melville RCMP is withholding the type of weapon used in the incident for investigative reasons. An “F” Division spokesperson said photographic evidence obtained from the scene was unsuitable for identification purposes.
Melville RCMP is requesting anyone who has information that may assist in the investigation to contact the detachment at (306) 728-1700 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
