Saturday morning was the perfect weather for the walk/run of Bernie’s Journey, an event honouring Bernie Wlock, a Yorkton resident with cancer. Participants walked or ran 5km or ten km in this self-timed initiative, returning to the Fire Hall to enjoy beverage refreshments and a pancake breakfast. All proceeds from the event this year went to Brayden Ottenbreit’s Close Cuts For Cancer.
