The annual Yorkton Annual Flower & Vegetable Display Show was held at St. Gerard’s Parish Hall in the city last Tuesday. The show is not a judged show, so there are no winners or prizes awarded. It is a display show, which means entrants can bring the best of what they have and display it so that other interested gardeners can enjoy it. It still serves an educational purpose, but the strict rules of a judged show don’t apply. The show included marigolds displayed hosta leaves, matricaria, (the little white flowers, and marigolds with bells of Ireland.
