BREDENBURY - Skaters perform

Jim and Anne Purves have returned from their cruise. They flew from Regina to Calgary, then to Houston, Texas, then travelled by bus to Galveston where they boarded ship. The cruise included stops in Honduras, Belize and Tozemal.

Jim and Anne Purves have returned from their cruise. They flew from Regina to Calgary, then to Houston, Texas, then travelled by bus to Galveston where they boarded ship. The cruise included stops in Honduras, Belize and Tozemal. They had a real nice holiday.

On Sunday March 6 the Bredenbury Cougars played Redvers in the first game of the provincial south final with Bredenbury winning 2-1. This is a two out of three series. The next game will be Friday night at 8:00 p.m. in Bredenbury.

Bredenbury Cougars will be playing their first game of the best of seven against the Langenburg Warriors on Thursday, March 10, 2011 at 8:00 p.m. at the Bredenbury Arena. Good luck Cougars.

The World Day of Prayer service was well attended and enjoyed by a large group of ladies from Bredenbury, Churchbridge and Saltcoats.

John and Joan Sjuberg had their sister Heather and Elmer Stevenson visiting from Regina.

On Sunday, March 13, the Can Skate groups presented their annual winter carnival at 2:00 p.m. There was a craft show in the lobby, followed by the skaters. A silver collection was held at the door. Fans enjoyed seeing how much our little skaters have improved.

Penny La Roque of Brandon is visiting her parents Darlene and Gerald Burman.
