Between November 17, 2010 and October 19, 2011, 80 pieces of steel cladding were stolen from a building site on 5th Avenue North. The missing material is described as white in color and weighs about 2,000 lbs. Forty of the pieces are 19'10" long and 40 are 15'5". The pieces were to be used to build a 70' wide by 60' deep building.
Police are seeking the public's assistance in this investigation and are encouraged to contact the Yorkton City Detachment with any information with regards to any unusual activities in the area between these dates.
