Two drivers were hospitalized after a vehicle collision near Springside on Friday morning.
Around 5:24 a.m. on January 19, the Yorkton Fire Protective Services received a request to provide mutual aid for Springside.
Emergency services arrived at the scene of the accident, which was located five miles east of Springside. They found two cars which had crashed into each other while they’d been headed in opposite directions.
The Shock Trauma Air Rescue Society (STARS) airlifted one of the drivers to Regina. Their condition is unknown at this time.
The other driver was taken to the Yorkton hospital.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
