Crossroads Credit Union recently donated $1,000 to assist funding the conceptual plan for a new Regional Hospital. "This is a necessary project that will be very good for our region," said Jim Rediger, CEO of Crossroads Credit Union. "We have Credit Union branches in Canora, Preeceville Sturgis, Margo, Wadena and we know that many of our members and residents of the communities where we have offices use the Regional Health Centre. We know our communities will benefit from a new hospital, so it makes a lot of sense for us to support a new regional facility," he continued. "This is a wonderful donation and it comes at a great time," said Ross Fisher, Executive Director of The Health Foundation. "We have had a terrific reception from the business community since we started raising funds to develop a conceptual plan. Crossroads Credit Union is the 51th business make a contribution to this plan." "With this donation we have raised $140,000 toward the conceptual plan. Our goal is to raise $180,000, and we hope to have that complete this summer," Continued Mr. Fisher.
