Dale Gelowitz, Manager of Windsor Plywood, presented a cheque for $1,000 to Ross Fisher, Executive Director of The Health Foundation, to help fund the conceptual plan for a new regional hospital. "We are really pleased to support planning for a new hospital," said Mr. Gelowitz. "Most of the people who work here have young families, and a new hospital makes sense from their point of view. You want to know that there will be good quality services if your family needs them." "As a business you like to give back to the community, and supporting a new hospital makes sense because everyone will benefit from a new hospital. I think most of the business community understands how important a new hospital will be to this area. It will help us attract new people to work in our businesses, and it fits right in with the growth of our region and the new investment we are seeing in this area." "It is great to see this donation from Windsor Plywood. More and more businesses are getting behind this project and that will help to send a strong message to the government that the community really does support moving forward with a new regional hospital," said Ross Fisher.
