Flooding aftermath presents dangers

The province's RCMP detachments wish to make the public aware of potential hazards on the recreational waterways. Due to the severe flooding that occurred this spring, lakes and rivers still have debris that could be very dangerous to boaters and swimmers. The waterways may have parts of docks, household materials, propane tanks, and other structures either floating in the water or submerged.

The public is advised to exercise extreme caution at all times when using the any of the Saskatchewan lakes or rivers for their recreational enjoyment.
