Kristopher Grunert is international architecture and industrial photographer working from China to the Americas and Africa.

Yorkton Regional High School student Kenton Doupe created 100 Portraits of people in his life. Starting with profile pictures taken from Facebook pages.

Sam Derkatch is an emerging artist who calls his work "hillbilly photography." Exploring the lost and abandoned places in our rural environment.

The World Day of Prayer has its roots in an ecumenical day of prayer organized by women in Canada and the United States in 1920. This event became the International World Day of Prayer in 1922. Christmas around the world will be focusing on the country of Malaysia during the annual World Day of Prayer service this year. Local residents are invited to join in this worldwide event by attending service Fri., Mar. 23 at 7:30 p.m. at Westview United Church, 355 Bradbrooke Dr. in Yorkton.

The Yorkton Film Festival is now looking for volunteers for the upcoming 2012 festival season. Celebrating 65 years of film, the festival owes much of its history to its incredible volunteers. Each year we are looking for dedicated and friendly individuals to help with the tasks of driving shuttle vans; assisting with the mini-cinema and screenings; working at our social events, including LobsterFest and the GSA Gala; and taking part in the setup and teardown of the festival. Yorkton Relay for Life 2012 at Century Field June 22 - 7:00 p.m. to June 23 - 7:00 a.m. This unique and inspiring event involves teams of 12 to 15 who participate in a 12-hour, overnight non-competitive relay. We are looking for people who would like to join the committee and help plan this year's relay, people who would like to volunteer the day (and / or night) of relay as well as business sponsors, teams, participants and survivors who would like to join us in this year's Relay for Life.
