Yorkton Hyundai Close Cuts

The efforts of the Brayden Ottenbreit Close Cuts for Cancer program received a major boost last Thursday.
Yorkton Hyundai, in conjunction with Whitewood Dodge and Moosomin Dodge. made a donation of $15,000 towards our Local Cancer Initiatives Program. The program aims to enhance the lives of local cancer patients.
The money was raised through a donation on car sales, car show and barbeques.
“We’re so appreciative,” said Leone Ottenbreit as the cheque was unveiled.
Ottenbreit said the money will go to completing a family room at the Yorkton Regional Health Centre as part of the palliative care initiative. The family room will be located between the two palliative care rooms as a place for families to find a quiet spot.
“The (rooms) address the needs of families,” she said.
Ron Kaban, owner of Yorkton Hyundai said they were glad to play a role in raising funds for the project.
“Thanks to Greg and Leone” for letting the dealership “be part of this great initiative,” he said.
It is expected it will be called the Yorkton Hyundai Family Room.
