The Mint's newest offering of 2011 features: 99.99% pure 1/25 ounce gold coins honouring the Boreal Forest, Wood Bison, Orca and Peregrine Falcon which mirror the themes of four of the Mint's five new 2011 "legendary nature" commemorative circulation coins, followed by four new $10 face value pure silver coins featuring the same designs; new sets of sterling silver and uncirculated versions of the 25-cent Wood Bison, Orca and Peregrine Falcon circulation coins; a new one-kilo pure gold coin marking the 375th anniversary of the first European observation of Lacrosse; the newest 14-karat gold addition to the Provincial Coat of Arms, featuring Nova Scotia; "Wintertown" and "Little Skaters" pure silver coins with colour enhancement; and a 25th Anniversary of the Loonie collector card featuring a silver-plated, double-dated one-dollar circulation coin.
