Cornerstone Credit Union has provided $10,000 towards the Boys & Girls Club of Yorkton for renovations to the Middle Years programming space

Concentra Financial, a credit union partner invited credit unions across Canada to submit applications to their Empowering Your Community campaign. This campaign is the 7th year of celebrating co-operative values and community initiatives across Canada, and building healthy communities in partnership with credit unions across the country.

There were 93 applications submitted from credit unions across Canada, and the Concentra selection committee chose 15 credit unions to receive a $10,000 award. Cornerstone is proud to announce they were one of the 15 recipients of funding, receiving $10,000 towards the Boys & Girls Club of Yorkton for renovations to the Middle Years programming space. This brings Cornerstone’s total donation to the Boys & Girls Club to $40,000 over the last few months. The funds are being used towards renovations of the building to accommodate the Middle Years Centre space.

The Boys & Girls Club of Yorkton was recently a recipient of Project Cornerstone, receiving $30,000 in funding towards their Middle Years Centre renovations.
