Calvin Tokarchuk, the owner of Du-All Drywall, presented a cheque for $1,000 to Ross Fisher, Executive Director of The Health Foundation, to help fund the conceptual plan for a new regional hospital. "A new hospital is important to Yorkton and the surrounding area. The current hospital is getting older, and while we have a great group of doctors and nurses proving really good service, if you spend time in the hospital you can see it needs to be replaced," said Mr. Tokarchuk. A new hospital makes a lot of sense and will be good for Yorkton and the surrounding area; we wanted to make a donation because supporting a new hospital is a really good way to give back to the community. We've been in business 27 years and we hope to be in business and living here for many more years, we want to help make this community the best it can be," continued Calvin Tokarchuk. "The other thing is, this area is already having some trouble attracting doctors, and a new hospital should make it a lot easier to attract new doctors and other medical professionals that we need," he continued. "We are grateful to receive this donation from Du-All Drywall, it is very generous. I think people are recognizing that a new regional hospital will be a huge benefit to our region," said Mr. Fisher.
