Sheldon Shore, of Gordon Sanitation presented a cheque for $1,000 to Ross Fisher, Executive Director of The Health Foundation, to help fund the conceptual plan for a new regional hospital. "You can see the growth in this area; there are more people and more businesses. It just makes sense that you have to plan to be sure you can provide the services we will need for a growing population. You can see that there is more investment coming and there will be more people. We need a new regional hospital and we need to be sure it is built to handle a bigger population," said Mr. Shore. "I'm really pleased to support planning for a new hospital, because I can see the need for it. I've been in the current hospital and it's obvious we will need a new hospital in the next few years," he continued. "It is great to see the support this project is receiving and to see people understand that a new regional hospital will tremendously benefit our local healthcare. The business community has been very supportive of the planning process for a new hospital. Proper planning means that we will build a facility that can grow with this region, and provide the services we need for the next 50 years," said Mr. Fisher. Gordon Sanitation Services became the 88th business to make a donation to the conceptual plan.
