St. John Ambulance Week was unanimously declared by Yorkton Council to mark the organization's 100th anniversary in Saskatchewan.
In making the request of Council Judy Purdue, location manager for SJA Yorkton noted that in addition to first aid and CPR training, organization volunteers provide first aid coverage at events such as the Shriner's Circus, Terry Fox Run and Threshermens' Show.
