This was a sketch drawn by Stanley Turner, a homesteader's son, at the age of 17 years. The Turner family homesteaded near Springside. Stanley went to Toronto, where he became successful in the commercial and fine arts fields. Wishing the readers of THE HISTORY CORNER a Happy New Year!
