The Godfrey Dean Art Gallery presents PRIMAL NATURE, an exhibition of paintings by Jeanette Marshall. Originally from a farm near Russell, MB and now living in Windsor, Jeanette returns to the family home each year and paints the evocative qualities of earth, air, wind and water that shape her spirit. The Ukrainian Canadian Congress, Yorkton Branch will commemorate the 20th Anniversary of Ukraine's Independence, on Sun., Aug. 28. There will be a prayer service at 3:00 p.m. at the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Holy Transfiguration in Yorkton, followed by a Cultural Program at the Ukrainian Orthodox Auditorium. Beverages will be supplied, but please bring your favorite food to join in a congenial fellowship during a pot-luck supper.
