Culture days

Every year, Canadians celebrate what they love about their culture during the last weekend in September.

Every year, Canadians celebrate what they love about their culture during the last weekend in September. Culture Days is coming to Saskatchewan, September 27, 28 and 29 and we are celebrating with a variety of arts and cultural activities, all of which are free of charge!

There are great Culture Days activities happening in Yorkton including free admission and activities happening at the Western Development Museum. There's also an open house and reception at the Godfrey Dean Cultural Centre featuring the exhibition "Nests" by Monique Martin, including her week-long installation in public spaces of downtown Yorkton.

There are over 185 Culture Days events registered across the province, so be sure to visit www.culturedays.ca to see everything that is happening in and around your community. Putting the spotlight on arts and cultural activities, and recognizing the important contribution they make to our quality of life is one reason to celebrate Culture Days. Taking advantage of the free activities to explore something you haven't tried yet is another good reason to participate. Create, participate and celebrate Culture Days!
