The Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan invites family and friends of people with dementia, or people affected by dementia, to attend their upcoming session, "Adjusting Your Attitude Towards Grief and Loss," on Tuesday, April 2 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Nuelle Novik, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Social Work at the University of Regina will discuss the unique challenges related to grief and loss faced by caregivers and families of people with dementia.
Attendees will explore the multiple losses and anticipatory grief processes that impact those who experience and witness the progression of this disease.

The Alzheimer Society Learning Series continues on Tuesday, May 7 with, "It Doesn't Help to Spin your WheelsProviding day-to-day care for someone with dementia." Alzheimer Society First Link Coordinator Evangeline Patkau will provide attendees with strategies and approaches to caregiving in the middle stages of the disease.
