The Canadian Diabetes Association will be holding its annual residential campaign from Oct. 15 to 30, in Yorkton.

Ellen C. Williams, Coordinator, Community Engagement with the Canadian Diabetes Association said the "door-to-door campaign is our biggest event and fundraiser."

Individuals from across the province make financial donations when volunteer canvassers knock on their doors, she said, adding volunteers will be wearing CDA names tags for easy identification.

The money raised during this fundraiser goes towards research, advocacy and public educational programming which support individuals living with and affected by all three forms of Diabetes (type 1, type 2 and gestational).

Williams said those wishing a tax deductible receipt can have them emailed.

With over 90,000 people in Saskatchewan living with diabetes, your contribution will help those individuals who are personally affected by diabetes find ways to live a full, healthy and active life.
