Dustin Nehring of NL Construction presented a cheque for $1,000 to Ross Fisher, Executive Director of The Health Foundation, to help fund the conceptual plan for a new regional hospital.

"My partner Taylor Lang and I think planning to build a new regional hospital here in Yorkton is the right thing to be doing. A new hospital will help us expand the services we have available locally, and we think that should be important to everyone in this area. With more local services people won't have to drive to Regina for tests or procedures as much, and that's better for everyone in this area," said Dustin Nehring.

"Both of us are local guys, we were born here and we plan to live here a long time, and, raise our families here. I think anyone with a family would support building a new hospital. A new hospital will make it easier to recruit new doctors and provide the services we need in the future."

When asked why he and his partner decided to make a donation to the conceptual plan Dustin said, "we noticed that many businesses were making a donation, and some of the people donating are our friends, so we talked about it and decided this is a project we should support. Hopefully more businesses will get on board and make a donation," continued Mr. Nehring.

"We really appreciate this donation, and the positive comments of Dustin and Taylor, because they are right. Planning a new hospital is really planning to provide the services we need for the families who live in this area, and planning to make sure we can handle the growth we see taking place, said Ross Fisher.
