A wonderful time was had at the November monthly community birthday party on Nov 23. Every month on the 4th Wed. an afternoon coffee and games party is held at the Hut. Anyone and everyone having a birthday is encouraged to come out and be the guest of honor for that month. This month the only two birthday boys present were Doug Morley and Garland Thiele. Twenty-one persons enjoyed the social gathering and bountiful lunch followed by birthday cake and ice cream. Special greetings go to Len Simle at the Prairie Manor who was unable to attend.
Congratulations to David and Scott Sefton who won the Legume-Soybean Seed Class and Legume Champion Seed Show Class at the 2011 Harvest Showdown event in Yorkton recently.

A Potashville Singles Club dance was held in the Dubuc Memorial Hall last Saturday. Music was by Country Sunshine. There were dancers from Yorkton, St. Lazare, Russell, Melville, Grenfell, Neudorf, Grayson and, of course, Dubuc. On the two 50-50 there was only one winner for both draws - Congrats to Gary Hoffman. Lunch was served at 12:30 a.m. Everyone had a good time and enjoyed the music of the 5 piece band. Everyone is welcome to attend most dances, whether single or not. Watch for posters/newspaper ads. The Potashville Singles Club uses the community hall as its' home base and we sure appreciate the support as it helps to keep our hall viable, both financially and socially. This Hall was originally built and named as a memorial to the veterans of WWI and WWII.
